Hi, I’m Julie! I work with narrators, voice actors, authors, and production companies to edit and produce beautiful audiobooks.
To misquote a certain protagonist in a popular film, I have a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a wonderful resource for people like you.
When you work with me as your audiobook editor and producer, you’re not just getting an audio engineer. You’re getting someone who understands sound, storytelling, and the learning curve that comes with creating an audiobook for the first time.
My background is a little different from what you’ll find in most studios. I have a degree in sound engineering and started my career in a commercial recording studio in Detroit before moving into education. I also have a degree in English, which means I’m listening for more than clicks, breaths, and background noise — I’m also paying attention to manuscript inconsistencies, repeated words, grammar issues, and anything else that might pull a listener out of the story.
And because I really — like, really — loved college, I also have a master’s degree in sociology. So, between sound, language, and the study of people, I bring a well-rounded approach to audiobook production — one that helps me support the technical, creative, and human sides of every project
I especially love helping debut authors and emerging narrators bring their first audiobooks to life. You should never feel uncomfortable asking your engineer questions, and I pride myself on creating a space where clients feel comfortable, prepared, and supported.
In short, I’m here to help you tell your whole story — clearly, professionally, and with care.

This is an audiobook-only zone (okay, and yes, we have a lovely set-up for podcasts as well). I’ve built us a comfy and cozy space right in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, to record and produce retail-ready audiobooks. Audiobooks are my specialty. If you’re looking for a place to record music or need a more advanced podcasting space, I more am happy to recommend other local studios.
